In the digital age, it's crucial for consumer-facing businesses to develop and implement e-commerce capabilities to remain competitive. With the support of regional partners across Canada, the program is aiming to help up to 90,000 small businesses across the country adopt digital technologies.
The Canada Digital Adoption Program includes:
- Grants up to $2,400 for eligible businesses
- eCommerce advisory services for eligible businesses
Indigenous Businesses
As part of the Canada Digital Adoption Program (CDAP), the Government of Canada has partnered with Canadian Council for Aboriginal Business (CCAB) to deliver the Grow Your Business Online grant to eligible small businesses across the country.
Eligible Indigenous businesses will receive a micro-grant of up to $2,400 to help with the costs related to adopting e-commerce. These businesses will be supported by a network of e-commerce advisors.
Ontario Small Businesses
As part of the Canada Digital Adoption Program, the Government of Canada has partnered with Digital Main Street and their ShopHERE powered by Google program to deliver the Grow Your Business Online grant to small businesses across the country.
Digital Main Street is a program focused on assisting small businesses with their adoption of technologies. Since 2020, Digital Main Street has helped 620 St. Catharines small businesses through through its programs, including with 130 successful Digital Transformation Grant applications resulting in $325,000 in funding.
