In 2024, St. Catharines is going to be the place to be, according to AirBnB's annual report on winter travel trends for Canadians, revealing trending destinations and the stays travellers are searching for this season.

St. Catharines is one of three Ontario cities to make the AirBnB's top 10 list of trending 2024 domestic destinations for Canadians. That's no surprise to us: there's much to do in St. Catharines, picture-perfect waterfalls and scenic shorelines, world-class wineries, unforgettable dining, can't miss culture stops and more 

St. Catharines wineries are showing winetasting is not just a summer affair with a wide array of themed events and tastings and some really spectacular holiday shopping in the heart of wine country. Speaking of shopping, St. Catharines offers unique shops overflowing with thoughtful gifts, fantastic bakeries for a little assist in the kitchen, excellent restaurants to refuel at, and a calendar filled with holiday events that will have you heading home filled with the festive spirit.

You won't want to miss Downtown St. Catharines, featuring the Meridian Centre, the FirstOntario Performing Arts Centre, Warehouse Concert Hall and other hoppin' entertainment venues, or Port Dalhousie, Ontario's jolliest lakeside neighbourhood, where you can stroll through an interactive light show. Let it Glow - A Celebration of Light is a family-friendly outdoor festival lighting up St. Catharines until January 7.
