Join the team of volunteer and help welcome more than 2,500 participants to St. Catharines, Niagara for 8 days of international rowing.
Excitement is building in St. Catharines for the much anticipated 2024 World Rowing Senior, Under 23 and Under 19 Championships, scheduled for the historic Royal Canadian Henley Rowing Course from August 18-25. The St. Catharines championships will bring together approximately 2,500 athletes from more than 80 countries for World Rowing’s biggest event of the season.

With more than 80 roles, organizers are looking for 750 volunteers to help make the 2024 World Rowing Championships a success. Whether you have experience in event management, hospitality, or simply a love for rowing, there's a role for you in our volunteer program.

- Also, for Students that are eligible, volunteer hours worked can be reported and recorded towards High School Volunteer Programs.
Volunteer Requirements
- Minimum of 16 years of age or older at time of volunteer start-up.
- Meet minimum training/certification requirements (where applicable; example: medical, police background check)

Applications are now open for the 2024-25 Racialized and Indigenous Supports for Entrepreneurs (RAISE) program providing free access to business coaching, training and $10,000 grants for more than 400 Indigenous, Black and other racialized entrepreneurs.
